Karen Boezi, based in California, focuses on health care investments. She serves on the boards of several portfolio companies. Karen joined Coral Ventures in 1994 from E.M. Warburg, Pincus & Co., Inc. where she was an Associate in the Medical Venture Capital group. While at Warburg, she worked on seed stage investments in life science companies and acted as the start-up manager for two new biotechnology companies. Prior to joining Warburg in 1990, Karen was a Financial Analyst in the Healthcare Corporate Finance department at BT Alex. Brown, Inc. She graduate Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
